There's a quote from Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders that has stuck with me ever since I heard it. For those that have never played, one of the campaigns features a character named Kendal. In the opening scene of his campaign one of his companions gives him something and asks "What should we do?" The reply is a simple "keep moving." I think about this moment a lot when I am uncertain about things. Anyone else have a similar thing?

"Has your journey been good? Has it been worthwhile?"

Never have I encountered a video game character I've been this at ease with except for the character who asked this to the player in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.

This expansion was released during the pandemic and it's also the culmination of nearly 10 years of story they've built up. Endwalker nailed both of these personally for me. Helped me keep walking forward in life for sure.
