What book is so awful that it deserves a space on your shelf just for being so awful? (alien.top)

For me, it's Jude the Obscure. That book is easily the worst book I have ever read, without a single redeeming quality, other than that it finally ends. I only finished it because Far from the Madding Crowd was so damn good.

But really, Jude is the gold standard of awful books, in my opinion.

What's your so-awful-it-deserves-shelf-space book, if you have one?

Or am I just weird?

Every so often I look over at my copy of Divergent and think, "How the fuck did such an unoriginal, horribly written first draft blatantly riding the success of Hunger Games end up being turned into a trilogy and a movie series?"

But hey, who am I, right?

My roommate when we were in our mid 20s was obsessed with the series. So much so she got all the icons tattooed on her body. It was so embarrassing. She would purposely wear shirts to show it off.
