Hello there,

i need a little help with choosing the correct way to put my Proxmox server into my network.

LAN definitly isnt possible here because i cant put one in, Powerline is shit over my wires (<100 Mbit/s), for example Fritz Repeater for my fritzbox isnt possible because the strengthened wifi from the repeater disturbs my sound system from my tv. Therefore i dont see any other option than using a router/ap with a client mode or do you have any more ideas?

If not which Router/APs are fast and have a client mode?

Thanks in advance!

Asus routers have a “Media Bridge Mode” that does exactly what you want

But obviously if the wireless signal is poor where you’re planning to put the Proxmox server, you shouldn’t expect miracles.
