I'll go first: playing with other people in multiplayer who are geographically close to you would be very fun.

Co-Op games that save progress across all players worlds, Souls games are especially bad for this. Having to beat the same enemy 3 times over feels super boring.

Like Terraria, where you can join any server with your character, but the character itself holds your save so you bring your entire inventory and equips with you?
