It's funny how polarising this is. Absolutely valid opinion, but I couldn't disagree more strongly. I thought it was a really great way of highlighting that actually all these characters are a result of their trauma and not necessarily good or bad, but flawed humans with realistic motivations.

Clearly it was a big risk though because many people share your view.

I objectively understand what they did and why they were doing it. But so many people loved the first 1 and the characters there the twist in the second one kind of stopped it being as fun or enjoyable with the new characters unfortunately.
