Hello, I am looking for books for my daughter. She is 7 years old but reads at a 5/6 grade reading level. She is also very sensitive so I've had trouble finding good books at her level that are not too scary or sad. She will read through 3-4 beginning chapter books in an evening so I'm running out of ideas.

Gone Away Lake series. Its wonderful for that age group. I read it with my kids and enjoyed it as much as they did!
