The company believes that AI can be used to automate many tasks that are done by humans, like game development, testing, and localization. This could free up game developers to focus on more creative work

This honestly doesn’t sound too bad, sounds like it’ll be used for things like copilot in visual studio to help actual development. As long as AI stays out of creative processes and is used as a tool the same way spell check is in word it could be a net good thing.

The bottom line is that AI will free up capital by having less staff. It will be interesting to see who implements it correctly. Using it to remove the burden of tedious tasks makes sense. When greedy CEOs start using it for more than that, that's when you're gonna see some shit games.
