Not sure how it works on PC, but make sure you find a friend with a decently leveled pawn to help you out. Other players' pawns can be rented, but the price scales with level and cab get outrageously expensive, but a friend's pawn is free no matter the level.

Be advised that there is an XP nerf/buff if you rent a pawn that is +25/-25 levels of your own
