Cyberpunk 2077.
I started to play it about 1 month ago. I know the mess that was on launch and I know that 2.0 + Liberty City overhauled the entire game but damn, it's so easy/lacking that it hurts.
The game is literally called cyberpunk and it has all the cyber, none of the punk. One of the 1st quest you get is paying Victor 21k and in my head I though "oh shit, this is going to be a VERY long quest and I'm gonna get dry trying to pay him, awesome!" and less than... 25 minutes? into the game I already had more than 80k.
There's a HUGE disconnect between the state of the world/what the game/characters tell you (in other words everyone is suffering while the corporations are taking everything) and your character. Money in the game is useless, not because of that but because 99% of stuff you can buy is garbage.
It makes no sense to buy any weapon because random loot will always by 1000000000000% better than whatever are in shops. You can buy clothes and even that is useless because you get so many clothes that it's also pointless. The same is with everything else. At the end I had more than 5 million and nothing to spend it.
The issue with that is that from the get go, I saw the huge flaws of the story. Also the gameplay stales SUPER quickly because the enemies are stupid and any "difficult" enemy is just a bullet sponge. Also the ending of the DLC made me dislike almost all characters, thank god I made a previous save and skipped those garbage endings.
Having said that: V and Johnny are the best thing of the game, specially Johnny. By far one of my favorite characters ever in gaming.
If you want a real cyberpunk experience play neofeud. Even tho that game is problematic, it has lots of bugs and sometimes is straight up garbage it has the heart, soul and punk that cyberpunk 2077 lacks.
