Game launchers. Nothing but bloatware that bogs down my PC. Kinda wish Steam would let me run my games without it. The game is installed on my hard drive, so why do I have to have steam running in the background? If there is a way to bypass the steam launcher, please let me know.

This varies game to game. You could use a crack, but that usually posses unnecessary risk considering you already own the game.

If the game is available on GOG that's your best option.

I kinda like the old school ones that took the time to really personalize the launcher, even if they aren’t necessary. Like, for Secret Weapons Over Normandy, starting the game would play the sound of an old aircraft engine starting up
