Advent rising, was originally supposed to be a trilogy and only got one game, and it was a damned good one.

I wanted to love Advent Rising so much. The premise, having Orson Scott Card involved, gameplay mechanics, ect... But it felt like hobbled tech demos stitched together. Really cool concept, but def needed time in the oven.
