VRChat has been the Metaverse all along. And people actually like VRChat, unlike the hell that Zuck is trying to create.

VRChat is such a weird and wild place.

I love hoping on from time to time and swinging around in Hook Junkers, doing time trials as Megaman.exe while Kermit the Frog and Jack Skelington argue with a girl built like a jet fighter about what anime is best this season.
