Has it officially been canned? I mean, it won't come out either way but has Valve said it won't?

Even if it wasn't, most don't care for it anymore, us old schoolers stopped caring around 2015 when they announced a card game instead of any of their sequels we actually wanted. The hype is not here anymore and even if they announced it i would probably completely ignore it until the release and then just buy it so it can sit there for a year just how it happend with alyx.
