Should I keep my Apple TV 4k device if my Samsung TV already supports the Apple TV app? (alien.top)

I'm not sure why I bought an Apple TV 4k device when my Samsung TV already has the app. What's the value of have a separate device for Apple TV?

The Apple TV app and the Apple TV device are two totally different things. Unless you have a high-end Samsung, it is hard to imagine it will have performance even close to the Apple TV 4K.

The apple TV will still be the better choice compared to any Samsung tvs interface. Even on higher end Samsung tvs. I had the Samsung s95b and it's interface was pretty bad.
