Is it normal to just... fall off, and not be as good at gaming? Because I feel like I've been getting worse for a while now.

I can't even get past the third stage of Super C after using all 10 lives and continues. I was able to beat it without dying many times as a middle schooler. Then got the NES Classic and after repeatedly failing to get past the third level I realized I'm a has-been.
