I felt the same way, I’ve went from smokes to vape but nothing quite hit the spot like disposables (although I’d rarely buy them for environmental reasons).
However, I’ve found the Vaporesso XROS 3 is a game changer. The 0.6ohm pods along with liquids from the likes of Elfliq, Bar Juice etc is 100% the same as disposables (in fact Elfliq is the same company as the disposable Elf Bar) but completely refillable, rechargeable.
Best bit is the device is dirt cheap! Now I have zero interest in cigarettes any more, this hits the spot
I'm gonna try this cause there really is nothing like them.
I just wish there was a pod system that tasted as good. It's not like there's a reason to have a new battery for each disposable.
Trust me, the XROS 3 Pod system is as close as you will get, it’s 100% indistinguishable from disposables to me, providing you use the right liquids. Try to get Elfliq or Bar Juice liquids and you’re set, all their flavours are the same flavours you get with disposables.
I’d recommend the Luxe XR or Luxe XR Max with the older X pods that have the coil preinstalled over the Xros3.
Bigger and better battery life 1000mAH vs 1500/2800mAh.
The only maybe negative difference is weight 45 Grams vs 77/124 Grams. I currently use the standard XR and I don’t feel the weight of it at all in my pockets or in use, it’s extremely lightweight even when filled.
I’m going to give the XR Max a go when the battery on my standard XR kicks the bucket and isn’t holding charge the way it used to.
I was intrigued by the Luxe XR but I thought perhaps since it looked much higher power it wouldn’t be as much like the experience of what disposables are like, what do you reckon? If I got a Luxe XR, what difference would I notice (besides battery life)?
The power and wattage vary depending what ohm coils you use so that shouldn’t really be a huge issue. 1.2 = 8-12W, 0.8 = 12-16W, 0.6 = 20-26W and 0.4 = 26-32W.
For an MTL experience it’s the 0.8 for the X pods and you can control how tight of a draw it is by rotating the pod.
If you want 1.0-1.2 you need to use the replaceable coil pods. Personally I tried the 1.2s when I first got the vape and did not enjoy the experience as the flavour was non existent and they seemed to burn very easily.
If you stick with the X pods with built in coils you won’t see much of a difference other than battery life and not being inhaled activated rather it’s a fire key.
The battery life alone was enough for me as it’s literally half a battery more than the Xross3 and being able to switch between different vaping styles as I reduce my Nictoine levels is a big plus.
