This is why I don’t believe Google’s pledge of seven years of support for the new Pixel devices. If they don’t care about obvious defects in the display then why would they bother to do full OS updates for seven years?

My Pixel 6 Pro has been out for two years now, and they still haven't made shit for progress in addressing any of the problems with it.

I went from the Pixel 2 to the Pixel 7 Pro (which I loved). I upgraded to the 8 Pro because my wife has an old phone so I gave her the 7. The 8 Pro has been... mediocre at best. It just has a lot of weird issues in apps and things just hang and seem frozen for several seconds. I've had to kill apps waaay more often than I should. I blamed it on Android 14 at first but I don't think that's the case now. My watch also doesn't do voice commands with the 8 Pro. It worked great on the 7.
