Is it normal to just... fall off, and not be as good at gaming? Because I feel like I've been getting worse for a while now.

Yup.

Slower reflexes, poorer eyesight, substantially less free time...

It all adds up.

Oh, and different tastes, too. At least for me, I never really liked text-based games of any kind, but these days I find myself playing lots of VNs.
