Is it normal to just... fall off, and not be as good at gaming? Because I feel like I've been getting worse for a while now.

42 here. I definitely feel the same way. But my focus in gaming has changed to match I guess. I spend far less time playing shooters (which would also explain decline in skill) and more time playing turn based stuff where I can coast and take my time.
