Why is iTunes still a thing? Wasn’t it supposed to be replaced by the Apple TV app and the Apple Music app?

I’m building a 4K movie collection on Apple TV app, but is there a difference between each platform for buying?

Which do you use and why?

Apple Music only allow streaming. Apple made it clear that the iTunes Music Store wasn't going anywhere
