Buying an IPhone from someone (alien.top)

Hello,

I have a friend who's relative works at Apple and is able to get me 15% off for the new IPhone 15PM.

The only thing is they have to buy it themselves through Apple, I'll pay them through venmo/check and then they'll give me the phone.

I know this is a silly question, but is there any issues I should consider on my end?

It's a trusted friend and relative, but for example, lets say we stop being friends or the relative and friend have an argument. For whatever reason, could they do something to get the phone back?

Some extra info:
-I dont want AppleCare
-My carrier is AT&T
-I want to buy it in full

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've never gotten a phone this way.

Lol no, no soap opera. It's someone I've been friends with a long time and the relative is someone I've met a few times. I just overthink stuff, but I would rather do that and clear any concerns.
