Can't access community on my local instance from beehaw (beehaw.org)

Not much more info - I created a community yesterday: !springfieldil@lemmy.robotra.sh

and I can't get to it on Beehaw (or lemmy.world) - is this just a time issue due to how crowded the system is at the moment or am I doing something wrong?
