Greetings,

I'm going to be doing a working vacation in Columbia in a few months and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to stay in the city? Also open to the idea of staying some where other than Medellin. Nothing is set in stone except going to Columbia. Looking for a safe area with stuff to do. Thank you!

Most people will suggest poblado or Laureles. If you want something a bit different but still safe, and a bit more affordable, check out envigado. Can connect to the city by an easy metro rail and it's a city with plenty to do in it's own right.
