Sony Interactive Entertainment sent a message via the PS5 and PS4's advisory systems mentioning that the consoles won't support X (formerly Twitter) integration anymore.

I think it's just for media sharing, like posting screenshots and video clips.

My wife and I share a PS4 and neither of us knew it had Twitter integration.

Yeah because we've gotta share clips of what we play to several dozen fucking media places. I'm glad my better gaming days seemed to be resting at the PS2 era, didn't have all of this social media shit.

Man, Dirt 3 had YouTube integration and npcs telling you to 'upload that sick trick to youtube'. A wild time.
