Yesterday I started the series of quality of life conversations with my vet for my oldest dog. He'll be 15 next month. It's always an eventuality, but I am devastated. I knew that it was going to happen at this appointment, but that doesn't change how hard it was and how hard it has been since the appointment. I'm not doing well.
