My mother's thing has spread. Metastasis, they say. Experimental treatments with emphasis on quality of life, they suggest. I don't know what to do.
Please, please, please be nice to everyone and help everyone in any way you can.
I'm truly sorry to hear that. I know it's a little cliche, but don't forget to take care of yourself so that you can take care of her, and sometimes just being there is enough.
