And yes, welcome to democracy. A representational hive mind given the authority by the voters to make changes they deem in line with their values.
You think I see any representative democratic nation differently? You get what you vote for.
You elect the loser?
But they have the most votes. I get that you have a broken 3 party system. You voted for that too, or at least your ancestors did.
Non voters vote too. They use their only voice to say 'we'll have what they're having'.
It's still democracy. You still get exactly what you vote for.
Democracy is collectivist, you are a man of your country as are all your countrymen. You don't have to like the decisions of your country, but they are yours. Until people take personal responsibility for changing the process and improving the situation they will get exactly what they deserve. You are not individual from your society. Social consciousness is the only consciousness that matters and the hive mind is stupid.
You get what you vote for. American individualism has been weaponized against you. You aren't a special individual snowflake, you're a cog in a society, a fish in a school, an antelope in the herd. You leave the safety of the pack you get culled. You follow your pack off a cliff, you die. You work with your constituents to ensure survival, you increase your quality of life.
Your government are stupid because your people are stupid and vote for stupid things. This is not an American exceptionalism this is Democracy.
