Several like this were featured in Quadrophenia, movie from the 1970s with young Sting as one of the protagonists.
Movie from the '70s that was set in the 60s ... representing the 1964 clash between the Mods (scooter riders) and Rockers (bikers) on the beach in Brighton, UK.
There are places where people still do Mod rideouts and many have them decked out like the picture though the riders are a bit too crusty to be getting into fights these days.
