Scheduled rest day from exercises today. Pizza day was pretty hectic and I'm super tired. I've had to buy a new phone, which I didn't want to do at the moment but my current phone won't even hold a charge for the whole day anymore. I just got a cheap phone from bigw, I have to go pick it up tomorrow and I'll take the Minipeelers for a little adventure.
Mr Peeler withdrew cash from an ATM at a servo and reckons it didn't give him all of the money, so that's something he has to sort out. Money's tight as it is; it's a favourite topic of discussion at work because all of us mums have had to take some days off with the kids being on school holidays. I'm trying not to feel worried or negative about the rest of the year.. I've got my 50th birthday coming up (I'm not doing anything because it'll cost too much), Mr Ps birthday, Christmas, the Christmas holidays (where I don't get work or wages for a couple of weeks) and the Elder about to start high school (new uniforms to buy and fees to pay). I'll work it out but it'll be a stretch financially and I guess I'm just feeling the pressure of being the only worker in the house with the family relying on me.
You could try a battery pack/power bank for the phone. Very cheap and no where near as expensive as a phone!
Good idea, I didn't think of that. I used to have a couple of power banks but they "disappeared." Oh well, at least the phone I bought is very cheap on special. I'll check out another power bank tomorrow, they do seem pretty cheap.
Power banks are a life saver when you don't drive, I very strongly recommend one - huge peace of mind esp with the little tackers to think of. I'm still using one from ten years ago, it was a bit neglected while I had a car but has come in very handy several times since. A must have when travelling.
