This community is a place created for the people of Melbourne and Victoria. We are a positive, welcoming and inclusive community. We might not agree about everything, but we always strive to stay civil and respectful.
The focus of our discussions is based around things that effect Victoria, but we are also free to discuss our local perspective on wider issues. Or head to the regular Daily Random Discussion thread to talk about anything.

Making it would take me moments. Want to mod it?
What would you call it? I kept our TV and Music communities deliberately Australian. Someone in the USA looking for a "music" community is never going to find /c/rage. Do you want to do something similar or would you call it something that will attract International engagement?

Lol
It'll be good to call it Grub but might get the wrong clientele. Lol

Edit: Oops, it’s already made
I would call it Food Australia. I don't know the first thing about moderating. I have trouble working out my TV control. Could I mod from my phone? What would moderating entail? I had trouble starting the dt before Bot #1 arrived. Like seriously 5 year olds know more than me.
Ok, !foodaustralia exists. Go make a post in it!
As to how to mod, it's pretty easy. Find a picture/icon you want to give it. Optional: Make up some rules or write up some sort of explanation for what the Community is for.
You can do this from a browser on your phone, but I don't think any of the apps have this feature. I recommend doing this from a large screen if possible. As for day-to-day modding, those requests are super rare. I get reports that any Aussie.zone user makes for any community in the fediverse (or any user at all makes for an aussie.zone post) and that amounts to maybe 2-3 spam posts per day. Usually for a kbin post. In short, you won't likely have any reports to worry about. I never get reports against local people.
Wow thanks Nath. I just need a bit of time to wake up.
