There are some pressure sensitive controls in, at least, MGS3 that relied on the dualshock's capabilities. I assume there will be adjustments to that. It was a barrier when I tried to emulate it.

It could be possible to make a different controller profile for those sections, switch the pressure controls to the triggers maybe?

Absolutely, I just didn't mess with it too long, because I just wanted to see if it would run on the steam deck.

You mean for the sticks or triggers? Steam Input has features to emulate that on most controllers I believe.

Buttons, DualShock 2 and 3 had pressure sensitive buttons

I think it was the triggers. There are definitely ways to make steam gear work. I didn't mess with it too long, because I was just experimenting with steam deck emulation to see what would run.
