I'm limiting my Google usage to the best of my ability. Monopolies always lead to a huge decrease in quality as shown by the likes of Reddit and so on. I will appreciate the help. I solely walk or use public transport if that matters. And I live in Germany. :)

I use OsmAnd for Android. I pay yearly for some extra features. I mainly use it for hiking and 4wheeling but it's street navigation is pretty accurate.

Upvote for OsmAnd for street navigation and offline use while out in the wilderness. The search is awful, though. Addresses can't be found and businesses are hit or miss, so I grab the coordinates beforehand and bookmark them.
