unless it connects to open wifi networks automatically like some samsung tvs were doing a while ago lol. realistically its probably not doing that but it doesnt make me trust them, thats for sure.

yeah, but my whole city has free wifi so it still can be a concern

No disclaimer you need to accept or anything? That's usually enough to block IoT devices from auto-connect.

nah, its just open. connects with one click, no captive portals for guest wifi or anything like that.
