Breakfast noodles went down a treat. Finally glad to be off intermittent fasting. I've missed breakfast so much.
Uh welcome to DT? Yes welcome to DT!
Thanks! I used to be a regular on Reddit but that place seems a bit dead now. Happy to be here 😁

Out of curiosity, why did you stop intermittent fasting?
Few reasons, but the main one is I was losing weight a little bit too much (10kg in just under half a year). I wanted to lose fat and replace with muscle, but the extent that I was losing it was kinda worrying as I was getting a little too skinny and not gaining any muscle mass, so I decided to call it quits and just eat what I want while still continuing the moderate amount of exercise I do daily.
Edit: I should add that I'll still do IF a few times a week, but it's not going to be a daily thing like it used to be. Plan on still doing 2-3 times a week depending on energy levels.
I want to know more about these breakfast noodles. I need breakfast noodles. I'm so over cereal and toast.
Haha sure! It's a bit of soy sauce, Chinese black vinegar, spring onion, coriander, and a special powder I made that's basically just MSG without all the additives. Throw that in a bowl with your choice of flavoured oil (I always do chillie or sichuan pepper) and top it off with the water used to boil the noodles and a fried egg. If I'm feeling fancy I'll also add some chopped tomatoes, but usually too lazy for that.
Ooh very nice. That really would hit the spot for brekkie. Inspired by you I got some Sichuan flavoured instant noodles from the local shop, not going in with high expectations but still looking forward to nooooodles. I really need to get myself a bottle of Chinkiang vinegar already when I get back to mine.
Sounds good! Hope you enjoy. 😁 If I find anymore great recipes I'll be sure to let everyone know about it.
