Article doesn't seem to line up with the headline. Why is this the end of an era? Is JET shutting down?

I thought it was always supposed to shut down. It was a POC experiment to prove it could be done. Aren't they building the real one in France?

True, but I'm just confused because the actual article doesn't mention that at all
