@hyde running sketchy files on linux can be just as dangerous as windows. Linux's strength comes from it's trusted ecosystem of repositories and mainly open source programs which are easily auditable.

@hyde too an extent yes, but once again, if you give root access to malware because you don't know any better, well you're kind of just as screwed. If linux is to become more mainstream and be a daily driver of the average user, this could be a common scenario
