Is it just me or is the whole Karlach romance EXTREMELY well done? I know I'm a big ol' weird softie and your mileage may vary, but it had me laughing and crying and cheering!

I just couldn't help but feel her frustration, be touched by her love for my fictional avatar and her giddiness the morning after is one of if not THE most touching example of infectious giddy happiness I've ever seen in a game, he'll in any fiction at all!

Hats off to the the team who created, drew and brought to life the visual aspects of the character and to Samantha Béart for a masterful achievement in voice acting!

DEFINITELY my favourite too!

And yeah,

spoilerI'm pretty sure you can't progress her quest without Dammon, so you'll have to load an earlier save (if you have one) and do your best to protect him or talk down Kagha so there's one less shadow druid to fight

I do have a save... 6 hours ago

Man, if only there was a scroll that can revive people, wouldn't that be a craaazy idea

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

There is, but you have to convince people to follow you around like lost puppies before you get to decide whether they live or die. D&D logic 😂

I don't really know D&D rules... As I've never played D&D before, but it did feel kinda strange to be holding a scroll that can revive people an be to not be able to use it... To revive people

Yeah, it's very close to completely arbitrary, I agree..

Btw, do you happen too know what the fck I need to do to help Gale? Like, he vaguely mentions what happened to him and this Mythra and their whole backstory together, but I have no clue where I need to go...

You mean how to

::: spoiler Complete the main quest without blowing him up? :::

If so, I dunno. Haven't gotten that far yet. Until then, he'll ask you for exactly what he needs once he has a high enough opinion of you, which SHOULD be pretty early 🤷

Did you find Elminster in the mountain pass during act 1?

[–] Presi300@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

No, I decided to go through the underground before I go through the pass (I haven't gone through the mountain pass yet)

It's not DnD logic, you can revivify a mosnter if you want to, although it only works if they died a minute ago max, and you can use another spell to make that last longer. Also, revivify costs diamond dust. It's BG3 logic.
