TL;DR 1.5 m cable, instead of 1 m. Color-matched and braided.

Although, to be fair, it does kind of product extra waste in the short term. I’m definitely going to be trashing a decade of lightning crap and buying USB C cables.

A lot of people already own a bunch of USB-C cables though. Like users of Macs, iPads, Androids, laptops, Nintendo Switch, E-readers, wireless headphones, etc.

I have some USB C cables in the house already, but I don’t want to be crawling behind things to unplug / replug stuff or carry cables from place to place. I also want to be able to charge two things in one place at the same time. Laptop and phone. Phone and headphones, etc.

With 2 bedside tables, 2 work desks, 2 cars, and another random living room charge spot in the house, I’m probably going to replace about 7 cables.

Thats what usb c is for? So that you dont need to screw around with random cables? Blame apple for refusing the standard
