Morning peoples. Does everyone brush before or after they have breakfast? It's 99% of the time before for me.

After breakfast always, I don’t understand why you would do it before unless you like minty breakfast?

Hmm I do enjoy mint in general but not sure if that's the reason. More of a habit.

After! Wtf, I once stayed with an otherwise very sweet and lovely aunt when I was a kid and she insisted on before and I nearly got into a fight with her because of how irrational it was. If I've slept all night with brushed teeth, it makes no sense to brush again just before the very activity that is the entire reason to brush ones teeth. I would only ever brush after, unless I'm going out and for whatever reason my mouth is a bit off (medications, improper brushing, late night snack).

You've got a point. Weird how everyone feels quite strongly about their preference eh. For me it's more of a habit. Scientifically it doesn't seem to make a difference but apparently the recommendation is to brush at least 30 mins after food. I must say though seeing people brush in the office bathroom after lunch always gets me.

Breakfast at home after. Breakfast outside of home before.

30 mins before or after eating to preserve the enamel.

Hmm interesting I've only seen the 30 mins reference when it's about brushing after. Teeth are weird.
