Most of the time when people say they have an unpopular opinion, it turns out it's actually pretty popular.

Do you have some that's really unpopular and most likely will get you downvoted?

Movies and TV are boring. In the past two decades, there's been a small handful of stuff that's watchable, but most of the media is like, painfully boring.

Movies are largely boring nowadays, I would agree with that with some exceptions.

TV script writing over the last two decades however, is arguably the better than its ever been.

Finally someone that thinks like me! I never watched a TV show since I grew up and I rarely watch a movie. I find reading texts, reading books and listening to music way more enjoyable than watch TV/ or going to the cinema!

Eh, I like to say that to each their own on this one. This isn't so much of as unpopular as it is just an opinion of taste. There are plenty of good movies that have released in the past year or two.

I keep getting this but it more often than not happens that it's rather the ability to enjoy movies that deteriorates as you get older.
