I guess you mean the Doomers wanted a Model T instead of the S100? I'm also not very excited about the S100. However the beta lead/bass are also popular stoner/doom amps (Red Fang uses them for the whole band) and at $800 those are priced less than what vintage ones seem to go for on Reverb these days.
