I'm shocked but how many still sleep with their door closed.
I am confused, you want it closed or open? For the first three points the closed door is better.
For central air if you don't have a return in the room, closing the door will make the ac not work as well in that room. If it's a window unit then closing the door would make sense.
Oh yeah if it's central air makes sense. I am used to mini splits around here.
For me it is the blinding light that enters the bedroom at god knows what early hour
