I have a 10+ year old bike that's worth about £100 on a good day, but I'd like to avoid some scrote nicking it, or at least persuade them to move on to the next bike in the rack.

What's a good bet for, say, £30? I'm happy to carry the weight of a D lock and something to secure the wheels.

I'm really sorry, I'm being dead lazy by asking this to a community!
Searches online just seem to be full of autogenerated rankings, or people super invested in one brand.

I think the Kryptonite and Abus brands are supposed to be good but not sure if they'll have anything for that price.

You could try finding anything with a 'sold secure gold' rating. It's not the highest level they have but will hopefully carve out the brands that bother to get a rating.

Another good bet is to pop into a local cycle store with decent reviews on google maps
