3 was so fucking close
Out of the first 4 movies, 3 was the worst.
I feel like 4 was objectively bad. am I taking crazy pills or has it aged gracefully? guess I know what I'm watching this weekend.
Well, I'm not sure if it was good, but it committed to turning it up to 11.
Alien^3 insulted the ending of Aliens and felt like it was full of slightly lame choices.
I saw it in the theatre on the opening night, and couple of times afterwards. I thought it was light, artsy fun. A pretty good movie with some awesome directional choices.
I think it has aged well, especially after the newest 3 movies in the franchise.
I watched it last year. 3 wasn't grear, but oh boy was 4 bad.
It was. But that doesn't stop me from watching it.
You mean the worst movie in the franchise?
The first 3 where better than any of the dross since.
3 got kneecaped in production and the director left. The concept and what was left on the cutting room floor had more potential than anything else in the franchise.
Thd theatrical release deserves most of the hate it gets though.
That concept was just an extended Jesus metaphor. That's all of it. Shit was played in 500 AD.
Resurrection was better than 3 by a lot, imo. They could just remove 3 from the franchise and it would only improve.
Covenant exists
Haven't watched it yet, and it may just be a failure of imagination on my part but I have a hard time imagining a worse movie than Alien 3, let alone a worse Alien movie.
Dreamcatcher is a worse movie. it was so bad that I refused to watch a movie that a friend described as "better than Dreamcatcher" because the mere comparison meant it must be shit as well, just not as much and as literally as Dreamcatcher. oh yeah that alien thriller movie is largely about shitting.
That's a bold move Cotton. Let's see if it pays off.
