I've seen every cliche about suicide there is, probably a hundred times each. None of them are even slightly convincing in any way. Only people who haven't suffered from real depression and suicidal thoughts believe these petty words have any power.
Ignorant statement, this is literally what i repeat to myself in my lowest moments.
I feel it, but it's maybe not the best phrase to post without this context under a post about suicide
I shouldn't have to post a short story underneath a platitude to prevent people from projecting their Aunt Karen onto me.
I'm glad it helps you, truly, but I think for most people, this is just belittling.
