Hence the “unless necessary”.
And I’m guessing this is the US. It’s quite a hilarious double standard that the land of the free forces you to keep your yard in a certain way lol.
While I agree, for any outsider reading this, it's less about government mandated yard work and more about the fact that we keep allowing HOAs to exist.
