I live in a largely Christian community and have never heard anyone push for the US declaring a national religion. Is there some specific celeb or smth you hear say this? There are certainly people out there who believe everything you listed but that isn't even close to the majority of Christians, and most right wingers aren't even Christian.

Look up project 2025. There are also many articles that show that most Republicans and evangelical Christians want to declare America as a Christian country. Here is just one example.

Ty for actually having evidence to support your claim. That being said, a poll of 2k representing the entire nation is a bit sketchy, but regardless it's still a much higher number than I thought.
