Starmer's government, regardless of leaning, is made up of professionals. Honestly, the past decade wouldn't have been so bad if the government hadn't been so fucking sleazy. As an aside, it helps that the current Transport Minister is a bit of a transport nerd.

I want nerds running the departments.

I want a green energy specialist who spends nights doing deep dives into solar panel efficiencies, and will talk to anyone who will listen about the payoff times of different insulation depths.

And a transport minister who wants more cool trains that people can afford.
