What's everyone's favourite dessert?

If it's cake I'd say chocolate for me or black forest as long as it doesn't have cheese in it.

I also like making a bowl of jelly with fruits in it.

Tiramisu hands downnnnn

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 7 points 2 days ago

good vanilla ice cream with raspberry coulis

chocolate mousse

black forest cake with brandied cherries

Favorite dessert is, well, dessert. With the caveat that I'm not all that fond of coconut as a texture or flavour. So any dessert that does not contain coconut is a contender for favorite. I suspect the real answer is whatever dessert I am eating at the time.

not all that fond of coconut

I'm hoping that doesn't extend to the ol' bounty bar :(

Never ever eaten one. So I don't know. Judging by the packaging, it's not something I would spend money on.

Pina Colada at least?

Lamington?

A hot pie or crumble of some sort with a side of ice cream, can't be beat.

[–] anotherspringchicken@aussie.zone 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Tiramisu or old fashioned trifle with real custard and port

Kids size callipo, pineapple and raspberry flavour.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 points 2 days ago

Lemon meringue pie. Extra points if those waves are huge.

Anything chocolate: cake, ice cream, mousse, sauce, melted, whatever, just chocolate anything πŸ˜‚

Not Cadbury tho, that brand has gone to shit

Tiramisu or black forest cake or chocolate mousse.

Black forest as long as it doesn't have cheese in it?

Let me reread that.

Ohhh, I see what you meant.

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 2 points 1 day ago

Sorry. Like a layer of cheese cake.

I very much dislike cheesecake.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 4 points 2 days ago

madeira layer cake with grand marnier cream and fresh strawberry filling

[–] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 4 points 2 days ago

That's... a really tough question.

Vanilla ice cream with berries. Caramel cheesecake. Choc ripple with raspberry jam.

This is hard because I eat dessert items whenever and only try new ones if I’m out at dinner. Haven’t had anything recently that’s been memorable.

Though do love me the lemon tart and tartin at Babka in Fitzroy.

[–] Eagle@aussie.zone 3 points 2 days ago

Lemon meringue..... Strawberry cheesecake... . Apple pie..... can't choose between them.

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I'm not really sure. My tastes have been changing again as I have gotten older. It used to be anything with stupidly high levels of chocolate. Now I'd go more for something creamy or custardy.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I make a delicious apple cake served with lots of cinnamon vanilla whipped cream

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I believe I need an invite to that cake.
