The fact that so many are believing this anecdote to be real is a good reason why the Dems lost.

Why bother with reality and learning what actual people are experiencing in their actual lives when you can just share made up stories and extreme fringe cases that confirm your world view?

Media literacy is fucking dead.

Yeah but this anecdote is featured in a tiktok where the person's face is partially visible in front of the post so it's probably true. I can trust a random stranger when they tell me another random stranger said something true
